Ray Jarosz & Herrick Sullivan

Ray Jarosz grew up in New York's Hudson Valley and is a graduate of The University of Notre Dame. Fulfilling a childhood dream, Ray moved to Las Vegas in 2019. He now lives in Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada, where he is a YouTuber, hiker and recreational athlete.

Herrick Sullivan grew up in New Hampshire and is a graduate of Williams College. An avid outdoorsman, after graduating college Herrick chased his dreams all the way to the Alaskan frontier, where has been living the dream ever since. Herrick currently resides on the southern coast of Alaska, where he is a highly respected mountaineer and glacial ice climber.

Thought leaders within the world of voter outreach and paid canvass, Herrick and Ray have worked for many of the largest voter contact companies in America, in nearly two dozen states. The two met when Herrick managed Bernie Sanders' 2020 statewide paid-canvass in Nevada, and Ray reported to Herrick as a canvass office directors, where Ray trained and managed over 60 of the canvassers that worked within the state.

While working together on that Bernie 2020 presidential run, it became apparent to Ray and Herrick that they were capable of creating a better paid canvass program than perhaps any other campaign service company in the country. Their suspicions were confirmed when just two years later Ray and Herrick teamed up to create the largest door-knocking independent expenditure program in the swing state of North Carolina.

After proving their concept during that 2022 cycle, they knew that they could not go back to working for vendors, and that they could confidently solicit their paid-canvass services to any client in the nation. This was the inspiration behind the creation of The Grunt Work.
